Dr Joachim Nagel takes up position as General Manager of KfW

Dr Joachim Nagel (50) becomes new General Manager of KfW Group on 1 November 2016. Before joining KfW Group, Dr Nagel had served as a member of the Executive Board of the Deutsche Bundesbank since 2010. After successfully concluding his term as General Manager, he is expected to move up to the Executive Board of KfW Group in succession to Dr Norbert Kloppenburg (60) on 1 November 2017. With Dr Joachim Nagel, KfW is gaining a recognised expert with many years of experience in financial management, who can provide valuable impetus for the work of the promotional bank.
