Gaetano Panno becomes the new Head of Non-Financial Risk and Marta Lambert Vinos takes over the Transaction Management Department

Gaetano Panno (45) will become the new Head of the Non-Financial Risk Department on 1 April 2025. Operational and reputational risks are bundled in the newly created department. Gaetano Panno previously headed the Transaction Management Department at KfW for five years.

KfW Executive Board Member Melanie Kehr commented:

“In recent years, Gaetano Panno has successfully expanded and effectively strengthened the management of information security risks as a CISO. Now the task is to bundle non-financial risks in a separate department due to their growing importance. Gaetano Panno has exactly the right kind of experience for this.”

Panno is succeeded by Marta Lambert Vinos (48) as the Head of the Transaction Management Department. She was previously responsible for various departments in IT for seven years and played a decisive role in shaping digital development, for example through the comprehensive introduction of agile software development and the application of distributed ledger technology (DLT).

With her experience in specialised processes and as a manager in IT, Marta Lambert will consistently pursue the path she has chosen.”
