New members join KfW Capital Supervisory Board from the VC sector
- Andreas Haug and Dr Maximilian Zimmerer appointed in their capacity as market experts
- Many thanks to Dr Fritz Becker for his five years on the KfW Capital Supervisory Board
Changes in KfW Capital’s Supervisory Board: Andreas Haug and Dr Maximilian Zimmerer are the two new faces on the Board, which supervises the business operations of the company and is responsible for approving major investments. Dr Fritz Becker is leaving the Supervisory Board at his own request after five years.
Andreas Haug is founding partner of the venture capital fund Headline, having previously acted as a business founder and angel investor in the technology and media sector. Dr Maximilian Zimmerer is a member of the Supervisory Board of Münchener Rückversicherungs-Gesellschaft and a former member of the Board of Management of Allianz SE.

said Stefan Wintels, Chief Executive Officer of KfW Group and Chair of the Supervisory Board of KfW Capital.
“With Andreas Haug and Dr Maximilian Zimmerer, the shareholder’s meeting has recruited two new members to the Supervisory Board, whose profound understanding of the market and extensive network will generate important impetus for the continued business development of KfW Capital, making them the ideal addition to the Supervisory Board. KfW Capital’s Supervisory Board now has seven members: two representatives of federal ministries (Dr Sabine Hepperle from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action and Dr Eva Wimmer from the Federal Ministry of Finance), three representatives of the VC sector (Andreas Haug, Dr Judith Kölzer-Söding and Dr Maximilian Zimmerer) and two representatives of KfW (Stefan Wintels as Chair and Dr Stefan Peiß as Deputy Chair of the Supervisory Board).
