Invoice contents

The main features of an invoice are:

• Full name and full address of the service recipient
• Tax number and/or VAT ID number of the company providing the service
• Tax number and/or VAT number of the recipient of the payment
• A unique invoice number
• An issue date
• Quantity and type of goods/services delivered
• Specification of the time of performance
• Net amount
• A tax rate to be applied (otherwise the reason for the tax exemption)
• Amount of tax
• Gross amount
• Currency

If one of the above details is missing, the invoice is deemed not correctly prepared. In this case, Central Invoice Management will request a corrected invoice version from the invoice issuer.
