This year‘s IDFC (International Development Finance Club) Steering Group Meeting was hosted by KfW on 29-30 June 2023 in Berlin.

Six months after COP15 (UN Biodiversity Conference in Montreal), and 6 months ahead of COP28 (UN Climate Change Conference in the UAE), the IDFC Steering Group Meeting in Berlin focused on climate finance, biodiversity and the role national and regional promotional banks can play in the transformation of the global financial system. On behalf of KfW, Stefan Wintels (CEO and Vice Chair of the IDFC) welcomed 12 of the world’s major national and regional promotional bank partners.
